Mtra. Mirta Soto, Argentine Orchestra Conductor, graduate with distinction in Symphony Orchestra Conducting from the Royal School of Music London, England. And National Professor of Music at the University of the Arts Ex- ‘Carlos López Buchardo” Conservatory, graduated in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
She is Artistic Director of Philharmonic Avellaneda UTN, depends on the National Technological University and San Agustín Philharmonic.
Between 1983 and 1990 she directed the “Early Music” Ensemble at the University of Belgrano, Buenos Aires, Argentina performing the Viola D'Amore.
In 2011, She founded the International Festival of Youth Orchestras and Choirs and in 2013, the International Festival Young Tango and Jazz, both declared of “Cultural Interest” by the Argentine Nation.
As a pedagogue, she was Rector of IMMA a Municipal Music Institute, Ministry of Education, Province of Buenos Aires.
Publications: She is Co-Author of several Best Seller -Amazon on orchestral conducting techniques.
Distinctions: in 2012 Clarín Newspaper Honored her as an outstanding person in the Municipality of Avellaneda. Also had a Distinction in 2012 by the Secretary of Culture, Education and Promotion of the Arts of Avellaneda, as "Outstanding Neighbor" for her performance as founder and director of the School and Youth Symphony Orchestra. And a recognition of the Municipal Mayor of Zárate for the Direction of the Avellaneda Philharmonic, at the 9th International and Provincial Festival of Zárate in 2018.
She frequently conducts in different cities of Europe, as Spain, Italy, Portugal, Serbia and also in different cities of Latin America as México, Colombia, Ecuador.
